2. Who is Al Queda? Where did they get their start? How did the United States contribute to their start?
3. What makes a group a "Radical Islamic" group? Where do most of these groups exist today?

Indus Valley Stations-

Four Stations were set up that were discussed and taught in small groups by BYU students and Mrs. Bowers. If you missed class you will need to come check out a text book to get this information that was in the discussion.
We filled out four papers on the Indus Valley Civilization. The first was the evidence that the civilization exisited and thier values, second the geography of the area and how it hurt or benifited the people, third the inventions of this amazing group and four the decline of the civilization.

You may pick the worksheets up from Mrs. Bowers when you check out a book. We will collect the worksheets in our next class. You should have finished in class today but if you did not if is homework for you to finish.

HOMEWORK:  Finish your magazine activity if you do not finish in class

Instructions for the magazine activity:  Read the class handout of Dante's 9 circles and choose 3 that you are interested in creating a collage; find pictures from magazines, cut them out, and paste them on a blank sheet of paper to present your collage

March 1, 2011- TESTING

All Sophomores and Juniors will be participating in the ACT or PLAN test. You should arrive at school at the normal time. You will be excused at 12:30. Freshman and Seniors are excused from school for the day. Please come with pencils and a small snack for yourself during the break. Please gets lots of sleep and try your very best. These test are a big deal.

Unit One Exam

If you have not made up the Unit one exam on the Ancient River Valley Civilizations you have until Monday after school. You are now three weeks behind and you need to take responsibility for your grade.
