HW: If you have an F in class you must have your parents sign your progress report and return it by 2/22 (even) or 2/23 (odd).
Test retakes will be given Wednesday and Thursday. Come at lunch or after school to make up points or retake the whole test (Make sure to study).
Work on your Greece Book if you didn't finish the pages during class.

Remember:
1. Sparta is a city-state in Greece (like Athens). It was very militaristic.
2. Greece fought against Persia in the Persian Wars. This led to the creation of the Delian league.
3. Sparta and Athens fought each other in the Peloponnesian War.

1. The Nile River provides rich soil in a desert environment. The Nile flows north and the wind blows south.
2. Pharaohs were the kings of Egypt. They claimed to be gods.
3. Pyramids were the burial spots of the pharaohs. They were huge.
4. The Rosetta Stone allowed us to figure out the Egyptian Hieroglyphic system.
