Instructions for the magazine activity: You will need the list of Greek gods/goddesses & their function (handout during class). Pick two mythical gods or goddesses. You will look through magazines to find pictures that represent your gods. On a piece of paper, you will glue or tape these to the paper and write 2-3 sentences about your pictures.

HW: Write your own epic poem
Instructions for writing the epic poem: Make up a fictional hero/heroine and write about his/her deeds. There is no required length. You will receive full credit if you make your poem relevant to the subject.

If you go to Timpview's cultural night on Thursday March 10 at 6:30 in the auditorium you may earn 10 points of extra credit. You do need to print off the worksheet and complete it by Friday.

Power Point on Buddhism
Eight Fold Path Activity - On a large sheet of white paper you need to label 8 different boxes with each step of Buddhism 8 fold path. You then write one sentence that describes the concept and draw a picture of how you to have this concept in your life. The picture must be colored.
Example: Right Speech (Concept)
I could give people sincere compliments. I could tell my mother that is is beautiful.
Then below you could draw small picture with you complimenting your mother.
